“I always envisioned coming back to the area to practice medicine after my residency in Lake Charles.  I joined a large group there but a year in private practice there I returned home.  I set up a practice in Erath, LA in 1979.  I practiced at Erath General Hospital and Abbeville General Hospital since then and have really enjoyed it.  I have always felt that the care patients receive in Abbeville is more personal or ‘home grown.’ I think my patients appreciate that also.”
